I was partnered with Save the Whales through my service learning class my senior year at California State University at Monterey Bay. Let me tell you, working with Maris and all the other incredible volunteers was an inspiring experience. Collaborating with my and the surrounding communities helped me connect people with the importance of protecting the world we live in. With Save the Whales I have helped educate and encourage students in elementary and middle schools to be aware of their impacts on the environment and marine animals. Each of the members and volunteers of Save the Whales work hard each day to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. Thank you for helping me grow and make the world a better place.
