I visited this sanctuary 10 years ago and decided to go back last May. WOW, it has blossomed. This was before the new visitor center opened, but I had so much fun watching all the animals, that I took my Mom back over Christmas who was visiting from Chicago. By this time, the new visitor center was open, so we were able to enjoy some pizza and ice cream after our walk. It was great to go back at Christmas after reading the stories in their newsletter. It was fun to see the animals and progress from what I read. A great place where you can tell that they truly care about the well being of the animals and do all they can to keep them in their wild, natural habitat. I could sit there all day and listen to the lions roar. A must do for anyone who loves animals.
