Lovely surroundings and great yurt/cabins to rent so that you can stay at the Sanctuary and participate in interacting with the animals. Mary Miles is one of the best Animal Caregivers I've ever met. Her tireless efforts working with the animals, and ensuring they have a safe, clean environment in which to live and grow is remarkable. She's the type of caregiver you wish you could clone....high energy, high integrity and tremendous compassion. It's staff like Mary that makes Kindness Ranch a wonderful place for former lab animals to become rehabilitated. Kindness Ranch does great work!

What a wonderful sanctuary. Comfort and safety of the animals is first and foremost. Having the observatory/walking bridge above the animals is wonderful in that it does not disturb the animals, and allows visitors to observe from a respectable vantage point. The staff is fully educated and shares background information about the sanctuary and the animals the the visitors, so that visitors understand the mission and goal of the sanctuary and the history of the animals located there. The sanctuary has a gift shop; bathrooms; snack bar; and close parking. The founder and the staff are doing wonderful work in their efforts to educate the public about exotic animals and those animals' plight. A beautifully run sanctuary with the best in mind for the animals who take refuge there. Thank you TWAS for all that you do!
