I live in UK, but visited the USA one year, and read the Denver Post about a Sanctuary that was taking in lions and bears that were nearly dead through neglect. I went along to visit, and was blown away, with the entire place. The creatures all had smiles on their faces, and the volunteers--who were many were passionate about what they were doing. I decided there and then to support them every month--and will continue until I am no longer on this planet.
There are SO many opportunities for school visits, and to let children see how wild life should be homed, and to learn about each one. JUST AN AMAZING PLACE
