I do not know any rescue that works more diligently at rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming than Dreamscape.
Kelley Pomeroy is absolute to the lives, safety and well being, as well as giving back the dignity to the horses she saves. Dreamscape carries a large presence on social media for saving Saddlebred horses from slaughter. The saving does not stop there. Behind the scenes, away from the public eye, Kelley works with rehoming horses whose owners may need to relocate their beloved horse. To keep these horses from the possibility of auctions, which often results into the slaughter pipeline, Kelley will pair horses with academy's, stables, show riders and private individuals.
At home, Dreamscape houses over 26 horses in sanctuary. These are horses of special needs who will live in the safety of the farm. I have personally helped Kelley with rescuing a few horses from being shipped to slaughter. I have never seen such a determined woman. Once she her radar is focused on a horse, she will not let go until it is safe. Dreamscape has rescued over 400 horses through the year. It's a stunning number, more than one a day. Kelley Pomeroy is the genuine article. She is a consummate horse professional who runs her rescue with expert knowledge. Dreamscape's approach to saving horses is fresh and honest. Kelley's always strives not to leave one horse behind or in a precarious situation. On the Dreamscape site you can view the before and after, the adopted and loved. The photos tell it all. Dreamscape is, what so many strive to be.

This rescue has dedicated itself to the very welfare of every horse who has entered it's gates. Either it be rescue, adoptions or sanctuary you can be certain they all receive the dedicated and professional attention towards every horse's goal.

A phenomenal dedication by Kelley Reason makes this rescue stand out. I have shared rescues with her knowing fully well that once her radar is on a horse, she never rests until it's safe and the rescue is accomplished. The amazing effort by Kelley has even saved horses in the truck on the boarder in en route to slaughter.. She will get that horse no matter what. The number of Saddlebreds saved is in the hundreds. With Dreamscape, Saddlebreds find homes, repurpose into winners, companions or if necessary live in sanctuary. Winning this award would enable her the ability to improve facilities and purchase supplies needed for the horses. This is an extraordinary rescue whose tireless efforts need to be recognized and awarded.
