My best friend took me to Save the horses over a year ago and at first I believed since I "did a public service" one time was enough. I suffered a great deal of anxiety at that time, and I was a bit nervous about working with horses since I had zero experience. So I started off just volunteering once a week and it slowly graduated to four to sometimes five days a week haha. I developed such bonds with all the animals and I made friends with all the amazing volunteers before I had to move. Save the Horses helped me gain a confidence about myself I never knew I had and it gave me a purpose. I miss everything there is about this amazing rescue, thank you for everything.
