I first found OTAP as a support group. I had just been through a double organ transplant ( Liver and Kidney) and had a lot of questions that no one seemed to be able to answer. I went to the monthly support group and there were several folks there that had similar transplants. They were very helpful and relieved some of my concerns. After a couple of meetings I joined the Organ Transplant Awareness Program. and have volunteered to help at the informational tables at local health fairs Health Fairs. I have recently volunteered to help with the Scholarship program that OTAP sponsors to raise donations for this worthy cause.
