There was no category to click for "Former Director," but I was the E.D. of this organization for five years. During my time there I was privileged to work with a wonderful and caring staff and an amazing group of dozens and dozens of dedicated volunteers. During my tenure we significantly increased the organization's outreach to all sectors of the community, at a time when it was sorely needed. The pet food bank, financial support for low-income pet owners, nursing home visits, and helping seniors with pets come to mind, but that was the tip of the iceberg. This a great group with which to get involved. You won't be sorry.
