I became familiar with PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap when my wife and I adopted two kittens from them in September 2007. The adoption process was very positive, so much so that I began volunteering as an adoption counselor the following month! I have now been volunteering every other week for 9 years and can't say enough great things about how PAWS benefits both the animals it cares for but the larger community as well.
