I volunteered regularly at Neighbor Ride for 6 years, and then my wife and I began to divide our time between Maryland and Florida. I have continued, while in Maryland, to volunteer at Neighbor Ride, although not as a "regular shift" Ride Coordinator, but as a "floater" or occasional RC. It's that valuable to me to continue giving back to the community.

Beginning in the next couple of weeks, I am trying out a "Remote Ride Coordinator" paradigm in which I will do some of the RC functions remotely, using computer and telephone (ah, included long distance, you are my friend!) This will keep my hand in and enable me to continue volunteering with Neighbor Ride, although from 1000 miles away!

This wonderful service continues to impact my life, and in a positive fashion!!
