Review for Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization, Diamond Bar, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I was part of Pacific Crest during it's younger stages in 1996. The best part of the experience was the people. The staff was passionate about their craft and trained us with drive, but also respect. It was one of the first experiences I had where I felt I was treated like a musician, a colleague, instead of a child. I think this method of training lends a hand in attracting quality musicians. This organization serves the community well by providing a quality program that promotes good musicianship, but more importantly, good citizenry.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my sense of pride in being part of it.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

have a few public appearances in the community to raise funds.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the memories of traveling.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

well organized and friendly.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

get really sweet equipment!

Ways to make it better...

I had learned to spin a flag. I may have wanted to be in colorguard instead!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funding.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Pacific Crest builds character!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

1997

Role:  Client Served & I performed in the front ensemble.
