I came from the desert war myself. I was medivac do to heart and tbi issues. My issues were not bomb explosive issues or anything extreme like this. I did see folks with injuries and wounds that I never want to see again. At the time I was a Navy Cop and a Navy Corpsman so I saw a lot of both. So when I was send back to the hospital, wounded warrior project rep was there to see us. She was very nice, and WWP helped me and my friends to adapt more easily. I remember from previous deployments in the Marines, when we came back, there was nothing there, not even a thank you! WWP was there from beg to end! They gave us civilian clothes, and see other vets to help each other out! The military teaches us how to be a team, and I truly love WWP because they are what that is...a TEAM! WWP, I wish you were here during the first Gulf war, because when I had to deal with some wounded at the hospital from there, it was sad. I could have used that help at that time, but I am always appreciated of your help to others! I support WWP all the time no matter what! They are my go to team always! I will go to them first before my wife because they know what we go through! Peace to all of you! And thanks for your service my brothers and sisters!
