I am a first time foster mom who is supported by The Cannoli Fund. I took interest in a stray dog and Cannoli has taken away a burden by covering medical costs for my buddy who has heart worms, mange and other possible health issues. On top of that, member and founder Nancy and Marley go out of their way to help walk him during the day when I am not able. It is apparent this program makes it easier on people who normally would not save animals because of the unknown medical costs. They also made it very convenient for me to have my rescue cat spayed and vaccinated, by providing transportation to and from the vet. It is comforting to know that, while decreasing feline population, the cats are re-released to create a safer environment without altering their surroundings. I also feel Cannoli is incredibly beneficial to other non profit rescues who may not otherwise have room to take in strays. Cannoli gives back to our community in more than just one way and I thank them for all of their support and dedication towards the love and care they have for all creatures.
