I work with MedShadow, and I know how carefully they put their articles together. I know the level of expertise they expect from the writers/reporters and the importance placed on accuracy. The mission is to help people balance risks and benefits of medications. MedShadow isn't anti-pharma, it's pro transparency. It's an honor being associated with this important nonprofit.

Now that a family member has been inundated with medicines, the importance of understanding drug interactions is close to home. MedShadow has made me insist that doctors give me details of possible interactions and potential side effects. I feel like a better advocate for my family's health.
