My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA
I was introduced to this wonderful organization and the gloved angels who work there in February 2015 through the live web cam that featured Mike the orphaned bear cub. I was one of those who became addicted to watching this beautiful little bear and became impressed with the care he received at Woodlands. Though his life was short he enriched and educated many people. Since his passing, Woodlands has installed cameras with help from the MFC (Mike's Fan Club) and has increased their ability to educate (and entertain) the public of the wide variety of animals they care for each year (1,100 animals so far in 2016). The dedicated, professional staff (and volunteers) go above and beyond to care for and enrich the lives of all the animals they receive in preparation of returning them to the wild. Woodlands Wildlife Refuge is at the top of my short list of organizations I support with monetary donations (or items they need) whenever I am able.
