Traveling to Ecuador with Blanca's House for my first medical mission was by far one of the best experiences of my life. It was something I have always wanted to do and I knew it would be a great experience but I could have never imagined what an incredible experience it actually turned out to be. I had the opportunity to meet and work with an amazing group of people, learn so many things including what true team work is and be a part of an incredible team that together changed the lives of so many patients in need. This past mission not only did Blanca's House change the lives of patients, they also changed mine. I may have begun my first mission with a group of strangers but I can honestly say that I came home with family. I can NOT wait until the next mission and the opportunity to change many more lives!
