My adventures with Caritas Smile began about a half a year ago, when I was first introduced to its founder and creative director Sixcia Devine. Indefatigably brave, highly educated, charismatic and empowering, Sixcia, has been working on bringing joy, happiness, and smiles to thousands of children for over six year.
Collecting toys in the US and distributing them in poor, devastated villages of Latin American countries sounds simple, yet, when you experience it first-hand, it makes you realize how strong and special the driving force behind this whole organization must be. This force, represented by Sixcia and an extensive group of caring, loving volunteers both in and outside of the US, is truly extraordinary.
I am proud to be a part of this non-profit and watch how it changes the world one little smile at a time. Hands down: it's Beautiful and Amazing!

Edesia is an incredible place - here is where hopes to end the world hunger, especially among the most vulnerable populations, come to take a solidified form. From inside out, this non-profit is full of greatness, generosity, and care. I had a chance to work with Edesia on one occasion, so far. I volunteered to organize a Zumbathon for them, which turned out to be a big success, with over 50 people participating. As a part of an organization process prior to the event, I was taken on a facility tour and was shown how everything works: from measuring child's arm and determining how severely he/she is malnourished, to food lab, to packaging of the miracle supplement. Everyone I encountered was nice and kind, ready to tell their own story how they found Edesia and how proud they are to be a part of this great organization. I am proud to call myself a part of it, as well! Nothing warms your heart more than love and hope that Edesia creates in this world.
