Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been a fan and supporter of this fine nonprofit since I was introduced to them nearly 5 years ago. I have seen firsthand the loving care that Woodlands Wildlife Refuge (WWR) provides to the wide variety of animals that come through their door. Each day, they put their hearts on the line to give the animals the best love and care. They never waiver from doing what is in the best interest of the animals, even if it means breaking their own hearts in the process ,when difficult decisions need to be made. I am proud to call Woodlands Wildlife Refuge my charity of choice and I'm honored to be a part of the work they do. Mike United This is a picture of executive director, Tracy Leaver and the infamous "Mike the Bear". The look on Tracy's face, as she cares for Mike, tells you all you need to know!

Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

There are so many wonderful things that I could say about Woodlands Wildlife Refuge (WWR) but I think the most telling thing is their commitment to doing what is in the best interest of the animals they care for. Day after day, night after night, WWR pours their heart and soul into the care of these animals. If you have ever watched one of their critter cams, you can truly understand the size of the commitment they have made in caring for these critters. There are feedings, therapy, constant cage cleanings and of course, a lot of love. Spending your day working with cute critters may look like fun, but nobody sees the behind the scenes work and sometimes heartache that goes into the care they provide. The critters are well cared for and every effort is made to return them to their natural environment. In addition to this, WWR provides education to the public - thus improving the lives of critters that may never pass through the doors of WWR. Please support this worthwhile organization - your money will be well spent!!
