On January 27 2016 after I had made my way out to the west coast after graduation I had a serious snowboard accident, and lost my ability to walk. Finding out the most likely path to recovery was through organizations that can't be covered by insurance was huge. High Fives is dedicated to trying to get people like me back onto the mountain and into the snow. Everyone who I have spoken to with the company (and especially Steve Wallace) have been super relaxed, helpful, and give me hope. Because of High Five's generosity I've been able to focus on my recovery without distraction. This small detail has proven to make a big difference in my recovery. I owe so much to this organization.
