The NPCA does so much to increase awareness of the growing issues that threaten our precious national parks. Not only do they make membership worthwhile from member perks such as the annual calendar, but they also send periodic emails to me whenever a natural disaster, political decision (pending or otherwise) is/will affect a national park/historic site, and provide it's members with a means to have our voices heard, or for us to lend a helping hand. The NPCA does a great job of cultivating a community of like-minded people who care about the preservation of our national parks/historic sites for generations to come, and I am proud to donate to and call myself a member of this organization!!
