I just love this rescue. We adopted a dachshund from them a couple of years ago and decided we wanted to adopt another rescue. We adopted Brandy from them who had a history of IVDD. They were very knowledgeable with IVDD and when Brandy had another episode they were so helpful and provided us the treatment plan we needed. They love each and every dog that comes to them and when you adopt from them they will always be there to help. Thank you to all the volunteers and fosters who help this organization.

I have adopted three dachshunds from Doxie Rescue of Bucks. All three were very hard to place dogs but DRBC never turned them away. My little one came to the rescue from NYC Animal Contol completely paralyzed in her back legs due to IVDD. DRBC pulled her and got her the medical treatment and rehab that she needed to be able to walk again. After meeting the president and other volunteers, I was so impressed with their love of these little ones that my family started volunteering and fostering. Their compassion for all the dogs no matter what their condition is exceptional. They work day and night to get dogs out of horrendous conditions and shows these dogs that there are humans out there with love and compassion. I can not think of a better organization to work with.
