Review for Single Mothers Outreach Inc, Newhall, CA, USA
Just the term single mother has become an anonymous way of life for most, so to have a group such as Single Mothers Outreach is a gift. To be known for who I am and what I am trying to accomplish makes one feel special again. Single Mothers Outreach does this for me and so many others by taking each single mother as an individual and learning what their needs are. Some of us just need the outlet of meeting new friends, some of us need the financial assistance, some of us need the classes provided, some of us need the community connections and no matter what your need they find a way to meet it! What a wonderful way to make a single mother feel special again!!

As a single mother of two boys and one with special needs, trying to go to school, work and find time to just be me is an overwhelming task. Single Mother's Outreach has found ways to enrich my life with friendships with other single mothers, financial assistance, adopt a family, emotional support of just knowing someone cares, encouragement to keep moving forward, even long distance support as I have moved to UCLA while pursuing my masters degree in nursing. There is nothing more empowering than to have your own cheer leaders and there has been no bigger cheer leader for me than the folks at Single Mothers Outreach!!
