The Doxie Rescue of Bucks County and NJ is an amazing rescue. From the President /founder to the volunteers. Going above and beyond to not just help dachshund and dachshund mixes but also their humans. DRBC has stepped up to help many animals, but what makes them most unique is their Grandpaws program. This program gives sanctuary to senior, medically needy, and dogs with behavioral issues. Not many rescues have a program like this. DRBC covers all costs for the Grandpaw pups until they pass away. Each one is put in an appropriate foster home to which suits their needs. Here is were they enjoy the rest of their days. DRBC never turns any case away and will do whatever it takes to help out. Such an amazing rescue and volunteers who give so much. Surely one of the best rescues I know of full of passion and affection. You become family when you volunteer or adopt from DRBC!
