I have the utmost of respect for the environmental work being done by the Orang Utan Republik Foundation and for the passion of the foundation's leadership and staff. I have had many years of experience in working directly with a variety of charitable causes and the OURF is high on my list of having significant impact on real world solutions to some of the most significant environmental issues of our times. This is a cause well worth support and attention. The Pongo Awards brings focus and funding to matters of the rainforests around the world and of the indigenous wildlife facing extinction. The OURF is at the forefront of seeking the protection of this wildlife and of our planet.
