I've made sporadic donations to the Free Press for maybe five years now, and about a year ago I switched to making a (small) monthly donation. They have produced reports on a variety of topics which I consider important and valuable. They spend the extra time and energy to dig into these stories, and to keep people informed on issues such as net neutrality.
