I have the privilege of being a member of USITT for over 2 decades. Its dedication to education, networking, and mentoring has created an industry 'go-to' for all things that pertain to the theatre technician. USITT strives to develop opportunities for the student, the early entry career person, and the seasoned professional Volunteers in the industry develop informational sessions at the annual conference that are both stimulating and critical to the growth of those in attendance. The organizational structure in place encourages forward thinking while keeping sharp eyes on the financial impact of these decisions.
