Review for Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, Burlingame, CA, USA
I have been volunteering at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA for over 5 years now, mainly working on the Dog TLC program within the Behavior department, although I do help out with special events, such as the Charity Gala Ball and Burlingame Pet Parade. PHS & SPCA provide a variety of services ranging from, the expected, Adoptions, Obedience classes and Education programs to, the less obvious, Birthday parties for 6-12 year-olds. The dedicated staff and passionate volunteers, working rain or shine with constant smiles on their faces because they love what they do, are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. They are all great assets to the organization. PHS is a wonderful place for pets, wildlife, and the people who care for them, and I am proud to be part of it. I adopted my own dog from PHS two and a half years ago, and still count my blessing each and every day; she is an absolute treasure.
