Sgt. Brett D'Alessandro and Alexa show their passion of giving back to the Veterans through example. I have seen their interaction with the Veterans when giving out the backpacks. They take the time to listen to each individual and hear their story. They go to speak at various organizations and are working at improving and fine tuning Backpacks for Life almost daily. I am truly impressed and taken back at what they do. Sgt. D'Alessandro said " he wont be satisfied until the day comes when there will not be a need for organizations like Backpacks for Life because when that day comes all Veterans needs will have then been taken care of".
