Girls on the Run is a phenomenal organization that provides it's volunteers with superb resources to provide first rate training to grade school aged girls to not only enable them to successfully complete their first 5K, but also to empower them to stand up against peer pressure, bullying, and a variety of social issues facing young women today. Girls on the Run also puts on a first-rate 5K at the culmination of each semester's training program that is simply excellent. I cannot say enough good about this organization and what it does for young women and the way it equips its volunteers to execute the mission.
