Hunger in America can be eliminated
"1 can at a time". Dr. Norm's vision of the this concept was ahead of its time. Connecting with your neighbors to help those who need it most is so rewarding.
In my workplace I had no idea that there were families in need. The first year Canning Hunger helped 3 needy families. The year after that 5 families benefited and last year 9 families celebrated Thanksgiving, because others donated a Box of Love. Canning Hunger takes no glory for all the hours donated year after year for the collection and distribution of the food, but gives all the glory to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the giving hearts of those who willing give so that other can enjoy a meal, 1 can at a time.
