Review for Nuclear Information & Resource Service, Takoma Park, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

If it hadn't been for the work of Diane D'Arrigo and Mary Olson of NIRS, whose wrote an excellent report on low-level radioactive waste, we would never have known what an extensive problem we have here in Tennessee with nuclear waste.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Diane D'Arrigo has come to TN repeatedly to testify before the legislature on the dangers of nuclear waste in our state. She and Mary Olson helped organize a workshop here in Murfreesboro to educate the public on the dangers of nuclear reactors.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

This is the best environmental organization I know for working at the grassroots level.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

They are great, dedicated people, smart and hard working.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Bring more attention to the dangers of nuclear waste and nuclear expansion. And they could buy new computers.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
