Legacy Farm is a great place to learn about farming and agricultural as well as developing social skills for all ages and abilities. The people that are there to teach and guide are wonderful people and amazing at what they do and they do so much! Those who go to Legacy Farm can expect not to just sit down and learn but to experience and put into practice what they have learned such as weeding, watering, growing, and harvesting their own vegetables and herbs! It is a truly amazing and worthwhile experience! Legacy Farm also donates what they harvests to their local food banks and seed banks! Thereby giving back to the community in more ways then one!! Though it is not for everyone since it is mainly outdoors in the farm or garden space but I would still highly recommend people come volunteer and help out in any way they can and I would recommend it to anyone with development challenges to come out and give it a try!!

To prove just what a wonderful job the people at Legacy Farm has done, a peahen had decided to lay her eggs in their spearmint bed and the butterfly sure loved those flower beds that they grew! (In the pictures)
