Resources are available online but also mentoring and peer assistance are encouraged between directors of centers so that "best practices" are learned. Their newsletters provide a wealth of information and plenty of "pats on the back" for centers that are excelling in meeting the needs of the elderly in their area. This non-profit is truly a champion of life-long learning and when that philosophy is disseminated becomes a wonderful resource. Shepherd's Centers are great places to volunteer and socialize.
