I started going to the Family Place for their incest recovery counseling services several years ago. The Family Place and their incest recovery counselors have helped me to change my life for the better. The counselors are experts at helping people who were sexually abused. (Other counselors I tried were not nearly as effective, I think because they don't have the incest-specific training.) They helped me to learn to take care of myself, and how to know who to trust and when. I am much happier and more confident today as a result.
