I grew up here, met my husband here and raised my children here. The church family is loving and caring. They have always been there for me. I have watched our congregation grow and mature and reach out to the community in different ways over the years, from collecting food for the Bread of Life food bank to the Eppehimer Golf tournament to raise funds for different youth programs, to Vacation Bible School to Fall Festivals for the children and their families. We join with other churches to have fellowship and support one another. The teaching from babies on up to adults is grounded in God's Word. I am thankful for all that we do for each other (behind the scenes and publicly). Different folks from the congregation also help with the city wide clean up in May and the community projects that a group of local churches provide. They planted flowers at Persell and Lincoln Schools just recently. Our Pastor joins with other local pastors and pray for each other and our community.
