I met Eric well over a decade ago when he had just been diagnosed. Having worked in nonprofit development, and having been raised in a non-profit foster care setting, I have well-honed instincts as to what motivates people; are they starting a nonprofit for the right reason - to benefit others. I quickly sensed his authenticity. I have watched Eric not only overcome incredible health obstacles, but also practical ones to get the message out: that we can all play a crucial role in our own healing. He is the real deal folks!
