Assistance League of Charlotte is a stellar organization with a huge heart. I have watched as my wife and fellow volunteers distributed food to hungry children and their families; outfitted kitchens so families could eat at home; clothed needy children in new school clothing, given books, sent school supplies, provided hygiene products; helped a troubled teen get on the right path; supplied scholarships to deserving young students as well as adults who need training in order to provide for their families. They are focused on doing what they can to alleviate the pain and cycle of poverty.
