Review for A More Perfect Union Inc, New York, NY, USA
I joined A More Perfect Union about 6 years ago. This experience is changing my life. As a volunteer I learn more and more about myself all the time. Participating in the Circle of Women program helps me grow and learn about myself. One of the exercises is about our personal goals -- identifying the tasks I'll need to go to achieve the goal and identifying the people to whom I can go for support is so empowering. It makes the big picture easier to manage and I can imagine making things happen. A More Perfect Union is a passion in my life. Connecting with women empowers me. I am connected to my community in a different way. The best think I've learned that no matter what the background or circumstance -- we're really all the same. We want the same things in life and with support we can make our dreams happen. Women empowering other women -- and empowering the world.
