Visited ARK Encounter July 5, 2016 (ribbon cutting). Every Christian and every truth seeking non-Christian should visit. The written account of Noah and his sons comes to life. The worldwide flood really happened and the evidence is displayed at the ARK and the Creation Museum. Answers in Genesis teaches that the Book of Genesis is the foundation of the Bible. There is no reason for any Christian to compromise scripture with the thoughts of unbelievers. The science is in plain sight and Answers in Genesis spotlights all of it, whether dinosaurs, carbon dating, flood geology, supernovas, bugs, boats, or skin color. The Bible is true and Answers in Genesis is part of God's plan to save His people.

In 1996 (I was 33) , ICR came to the convention center in Dallas. I had received a brochure at church asking questions like, What really happened to the dinosaurs? What about carbon dating? Was there really an ice age? Where did Cain get his wife? Was there a world wide flood? Dinosaurs are in the Bible?

As the scientists were giving answers, I was writing as fast as I could on every scrap of paper I had. When the questions were answered scientifically and in full support of the scriptures , my heart was so full of joy and excitement, that I have never doubted any part of the Bible since. I can now say that I have personally led others (sometimes whole families) to the Lord , based solely on the solid foundation of the Book of Genesis and the authority of all scripture. I've made some frenemies also, but even that is exciting, I even had an agnostic tell me he liked Christians who are firm in their belief.

Though The Holy Spirit is the only One who convicts a man to become a believer, ICR is definitely one of His very faithful and frugal agents that can help build up that believer into a bold witness for the trustworthiness of scripture. To fully trust in God will cause you to want to obey and thus lead another man to Christ even if temporarily unknown to you .
One of ICR's speakers (sorry I don't remember who) said something like this "when you come to an accurate conclusion in science research, you will praise God".
