CUMAC - It's mission of changing lives as well as feeding people. Been fortunate to volunteer for them for 3 years. Have been on "furlough" for 4 months due to the Pandemic. Yet, the Pandemic, the Economic Crash, The food shortages, have not deterred this organization from showing up, day after day, and doing what it's built to do. With Mark Dinglasan leading, and a group of staff and volunteers that work hard every day, it's a beacon for the neighborhood in Patterson it serves. One of the best organizations, profit or non-profit, that I've had the pleasure of being associated with.

An organization that is making a major impact on their community, serving over 4,100 people a month. They are transforming the goals to include a fully comprehensive services to help their clients in all facets of their lives. The first milestone is the marketplace concept to providing needed food for those in need, but health care, total referral services in housing, job training and more is on the way. Very exciting

40 years and counting, serving up 38,000 meals per year, providing half way house for those in need, working to provide work experience for those who need it, and serving the Patterson, NJ community in many more ways. A great team of professionals and volunteers, along with corporate sponsors who donate generously every year. CUMAC\Echo is something to be proud about

I’m a Volunteer at CUMAC for the past 5 months. I went to volunteer in Patterson, to be at “ground zero” for people in need. The adjectives that come to my mind are inspiring, impressive, caring, difference making, teamwork, and, dedication. The impact CUMAC is making to the community is impressive - feeding on a regular basis about 3800 residents per month, with more for fresh produce. They help those with clothing \ and apartment setup for those experiencing fires and other tragedies. They provide a hand to those staff and residence trying to re-establish their lives. The caring this group shows every day is inspiring. The teamwork and selfless time they give, way above the call of duty shows true dedication. And I mean everyone from administration staff, board members, general warehouse, volunteers, and everyone in-between. I see the impact on those in need every time I go. At times, It’s heart breaking, but it’s also a blessing, an organization like CUMAC is there to give support to those who need their services so desperately. CUMAC is on the front lines helping every day making a difference, G-D bless them.
