Review for Creating Economic Opportunities for Women Inc, Oakland, CA, USA
I have worked with CEO Women for over a year and my experience has enriched my life in profound ways. I got the opportunity to volunteer in their program and assisted one of their client from business planning to launch of their childcare service in El Cerrito in 2009. It was amazing to be a part of the transformation of client who had a dream of providing high quality childcare to realizing her dream and becoming self-sustaining herself. I highly recommend CEO Women as a great place to give back to the community but also to experience personal development as a volunteer. I continue working them because I believe in their mission because they achieve real positive results for the community. Keep it up CEO Women you are making a valuable difference in people's lives.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
transforming client into self-sustaining contributors to society.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the quality of people that represent the staff and the clients that CEO Women helps on a daily basis. They are amazing passionate positive change makers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Redefine women empowerment and entrepreneur develop across the US. Their model works great in the Bay Area, but there are so many other areas that could benefit from CEO Women program.
Ways to make it better...
I was able to meet with other volunteers more regularly to compare experience and share strategies to help our CEO clients. In other words a volunteer advisor support group.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
funding and more funding.
One thing I'd also say is that...
It takes courage and vision to do what CEO Woman has committed to doing. I am honored to be a part of such as a powerful movement that empowers women to become entrepreneurs and self-sustaining.
