As a feline advocate I found this shelter to be superior to any other non-profits. How amazing is it there IS a place for felines whose companions have either died, have had to enter into a nursing facility, or hospice care. Usually these cats would be completely displaced and taken to a shelter where their fate looked bleak. Hearts that Purr give a second chance to a cat who otherwise would have been left without an owner and a home. The house itself is so clean and well kept, I wouldn't mind living there myself! This is not exactly a shelter, but more of a retirement home for older felines. I think the concept is genius and am proud to live in a city that offers care to these otherwise discarded felines. Keep it up Hearts that purr!
