Review for Links Africa, Arlington, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Links Africa provided me with an opportunity to sponsor two talented but poor kids in Africa to access quality education. By providing two scholarships through Links Africa, I felt that I had done something that has potential to impact lasting difference. Many people would like to help others but more often do not know exactly how to do so. Links Africa provided me with the platform to do something that I have always wanted to do - to give back to a needy person. In fact, providing for the two girls in Africa made me feel so special as I believe that their lives will be transformed forever.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have experienced and admired the way the Links Africa identifies needy children in Africa in collaboration with the local leaders and places them in quality schools. The disbursement of the scholarships and follow-up are excellent.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

It is so fulfilling to actually know that my contribution is helping a child reshape her destiny. Education undoubted plays an essential role in preparing children to be competitive in the global knowledge based economy. As such, my heart fills with joy.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

I met the board of members who were excellent in providing information about Links Africa's programs and future plans. Although the organization doesn't have many donors, it is making the best use of the funds available to create maximum impact.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Make great difference in the lives of poor children. The need is great and Links Africa can achieve a great deal with adequate funding.
