An island of calm serenity in this crazy world, even this year. My visits have been limited by the crazy world. The second I get out of my car, I'm overcome with peace, calm and serenity. The animals are always at peace, protected from the outside world, so loved and cared for. I am thankful for everyone who donated and supported Rikki's Refuge and kept this dream of more peaceful and gentle world alive. The animals have been as happy as every having no idea how crazy the rest of the world is. Humans at Rikki's feel a total clam and serenity there too.

Ohhh Rikki's Refuge, the most gentle serene place on earth. Visiting always makes me so happy. Seeing all the happy well cared for animals just warms my heart. Seeing what people do, the hours they put in, the hard work they do in any weather to make this possible really restores my faith in humanity. I come to visit when ever I'm feeling down or finding my faith in humanity is slipping. I can find it all again here at Rikki's Refuge. Just watching their growth every year is astounding !!! But hugging those furry necks when I visit ..... it's just heaven on earth.

Rikki's Refuge is the most amazing place I have ever been to .... the many, many happy animals bounding about in neighborhoods built just for them can't help but to make you happy too. Pay attention and you'll see the amazing love and care that is given to all the animals by the staff and volunteers. Animals who would have died if Rikki's wasn't there to care for them. Wonderful place. And the humane education they provide to so many groups .... and you see teens and young adults coming out to volunteer, getting involved in their community .... and they say it all started with a school trip to Rikki's when they were in grade school !!!! How wonderful is that !!!
