Review for On The Rise Inc, Cambridge, MA, USA
I enjoy gardening and know how important the garden is to On The Rise. The garden is a place to remember women in the community and in OTR's community whom we have lost due to homelessness. It's important this space is clean and well maintained so people can visit and reflect. I have also volunteered at the Prepare For Winter Dinner. This event raises approx 15% of OTR's annual budget and they can always use helpers to orchestrate the evening. It's an inspiring event, too!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to do something I enjoy and give back at the same time. Lanscaping and garden work is expensive; I'm happy to do this for free b/c I know what the garden means to OTR. I'm impressed that OTR honors women they have lost due to homelessness.

Very friendly and helpful in getting me started on my projects. It seems like a great group of women helping other women!

Expand its services or expand upon what already exists at OTR to the women who come each day. I'm sure OTR would love to hire more staff to help the hundreds of women who visit OTR each year.
