Review for Women Empowered Against Violence, Inc., Washington, DC, USA
I am, of course, biased... but I can say with absolute confidence that WEAVE provides life-saving and life-altering assistance to folks in the DC area who are experiencing domestic and sexual violence as adults or teens. WEAVE's model of empowerment and self-determination is the center of all that it is and does. The staff and board are amazingly committed, inspiring, strong and creative in helping folks find their own inner strength, beauty and light.
