Five years ago I met a sweet basset on a walk with her foster - Belle became part of our family and I became a volunteer for this wonderful organization! I am impressed with how dedicated they are to the breed and the community around us - bringing in not just the cute, young dogs but those that are special needs, have major medical issues and older bassets that find themselves dumped at area shelters. We have wonderful volunteers, fosters and adopters that feel like family!
