Review for Ecological Options Network, Bolinas, CA, USA
EON3.net is an outstanding, comprehensive, well organized, internationally acclaimed organization and website wherein one can find all the facts pertaining to the most important issues facing the world today. For years I have been able to rely on the remarkable journalistic skills of Jim Heddle and Mary Beth Brangan to get a clear, concise, up to date report on critical environmental, human health and human rights issues at both local and international levels. A remarkable team, the two are at the leading edge of each story, respectfully interviewing the key players on both sides of the picture. They can be found filming and recording the most important meetings worldwide. Their reports are thorough, complete, and well presented. Included in the dynamic video presentations, easily accessible on their website, www.EON.net, are interviews with eye-witness individuals, victims, perpetrators, scientists and legislators. The viewer is guaranteed the full picture, presented in a factual straightforward format, without any artifice or glamorization. Reports authored by the two are clearly stated and straight to the point. Any time I feel I do not understand an issue, I can turn to this dynamic duo for a thorough explanation that is understandable and accurate. Considered the best news team of today, I find it unnecessary to look elsewhere for the information I seek.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
continuing to live a little longer, safely, in an atmosphere free of toxic chemical, carcinogenic and endocrine-disrupting pesticides so relentlessly intended to blanket most of California, by the California Department of Food and Agriculture, (CDFA).
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
provide them with a staff to manage the business and fund raising aspects in order to free them up from these mundane, stressful and time-consuming activities.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the thoroughness and accessibility of the website to find all of the facts & reports on the issues, including the scientific reports by international authorities on the subject, those provided by the CDFA, as well as links to other websites involved.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated to truth, the basic rights upon which this country was founded, and the dissemination of information to help the public protect themselves and restore this country to its rightful and noble state. As nice people, they treat everyone respectfully
Ways to make it better...
had the time to dedicate more of my own skills in supporting the work they do.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the continuation of funding in this time of economic backslide and uncertainty, perpetrated by the corporate oppression which has a strangle-hold on our government.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I am very impressed by the duration and scope of their dedication to the dissemination of truth. They have adhered to a simple lifestyle in deference to their mission for the well over 25 years that I have known them.
