Paula and her volunteers are truly rescue angels. Paula quit her long time work in law enforcement to rescue cats and kittens full time. She and her angels go into the worst high-kill shelters in central and southern California and pull as many as they can to save them from certain death. AND, while other rescues pull only the "best of the best" Feral Paws will pull ones that are so often overlooked -the older and senior kitties, the sick kitties, the not-so-perfectly beautiful kitties. And they find wonderful homes for them. A friend of mine adopted a 14 year old cat from Feral Paws and she's doing great!! Thanks to Paula and Feral Paws, precious Tillie the tortie can live out her senior years loved and happy and well cared for. And isn't that what true rescue is all about?
