My Nonprofit Reviews

I have been interning with Virginia Organizing this summer and have witnessed the positive impact they are making across Virginia. All of the organizers and chapter leaders I have met are passionate about their work and dedicated to making change. They empower people to use their voice to be heard and work peacefully with others to achieve social justice. I was given the opportunity to go out into the community and assist in registering returning citizens to vote. I listened to several people’s stories and came to understand why it is important for them to have their rights restored. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of Virginia Organizing’s work. It was a life changing experience for me.
